120 SHOWS AND NEARLY 2 MILLION TICKETS SOLD AND COUNTING AS NICKELBACK’S GLOBAL SMASH “DARK HORSE TOUR” RETURNS BY POPULAR DEMAND TO THE US!
Nickelback, who were named Billboard’s ‘Group of Decade’ and kicked off 2010 by performing at the Closing Ceremony of the 2010 Winter Olympics, are showing absolutely no signs of slowing down. They have extended their Dark Horse World Tour. The next leg of the tour, produced by Live Nation, will stop in Oklahoma City on Saturday, October 16. Three Days Grace and Buckcherry will join Nickelback when they play Ford Center. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Saturday, July 17!

JONAS BROTHERS ANNOUNCE UPDATED TOUR SCHEDULE
Jonas Brothers released today an all-new world tour schedule that now includes additional shows in both Latin America and Europe. Due to recent changes in the Jonas Brothers schedule and the addition of several international tour markets on their upcoming Live In Concert world tour, the show at FORD Center in Oklahoma City has been removed from the current routing, however the Jonas Brothers remain committed to their fans and will look to return to Oklahoma City as soon as possible. Tickets for this show will be refunded at point of purchase.

Thunder arena budget clearing up

The 15-month sales tax actually produced about $103.6 million in funds for the renovation, with the final check arriving last week. The city also can draw from an additional $8.4 million tax fund to cover part of the shortfall, but the board has been working for months to scale back the upgrades of the Ford Center and a new Thunder practice facility to keep from overspending.
